In the 30s my great grandfather Mr. Dicker came to visit Frenchman Bay and stated that this area was a treasure amongst people and places. Hence where the name Treasure Beach originated. The locals are friendly and the climate is dry and warm almost like a desert meeting the sea. Getting around Don’t be afraid to rent a vehicle and drive. It’s an amazing way to experience the island firsthand. But we highly recommend Shoreline Journeys Transport & Tours. They do airport transfers and island wide tours.
